About Genius Speaks

Every Child Has Strengths Worth Discovering.

Genius Speaks was created from a simple belief: children thrive when they feel understood, challenged, and confident in the way they learn.

I’m Elizabeth Robles, founder of Genius Speaks, educator, and lifelong advocate for curious minds.

Curiosity. Creativity. Confidence

Over the years, I’ve learned that intelligence doesn’t always look the way we expect. Some children ask endless questions. Others create, invent, imagine, debate, or quietly notice details that everyone else overlooks. Some need additional support to build confidence, while others are ready for greater challenge and deeper exploration.

I’ve also learned that meaningful learning doesn’t begin with a curriculum.

It begins with understanding the child.

The mission of Genius Speaks is to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence by creating meaningful learning experiences that honor each child’s unique strengths, interests, and way of learning.

Rather than expecting every child to fit one teaching style, I adapt my approach to meet each learner where they are. Some children learn best through conversation. Others need movement, creativity, quiet reflection, visual thinking, or simply a little more time to process. My goal is not to change who children are, but to create an environment where they feel safe to think, explore, ask questions, and grow.

Whether I’m providing one-on-one tutoring or leading Discovery Studio, I want every child to leave believing:

“I’m capable.”

“My ideas matter.”

“Learning can be fun.”

Why Genius Speaks?

The name Genius Speaks reflects something I believe with my whole heart:

Every child has a voice, a perspective, and gifts worth discovering.

My role is to recognize those strengths, nurture them with intention, and help children develop the confidence to use them well.

Because every child learns differently.

And every child deserves to be understood.
